A Child’s Innocence Shattered – 11-Year-Old Boy Fighting for Life After Brutal Stabbing in Cleveland
In a heartbreaking and deeply disturbing incident that has shocked the Cleveland community, an 11-year-old boy is in critical condition after being stabbed by an underage girl during a juvenile altercation. The attack occurred late Sunday evening in the Hough neighborhood on Cleveland’s east side, turning what seemed to be a typical youth dispute into a near-tragic nightmare.
According to police reports, a group of juveniles had been engaged in a fight near Ansel Road and East 95th Street around 9 p.m. The fight appeared to subside, but what followed was both unexpected and horrifying. One of the young girls involved allegedly ran into a nearby home, retrieved a kitchen knife, and returned to the street — where she stabbed the 11-year-old boy while he was riding his bicycle.
His mother, frantic and horrified, called 911 and uttered the devastating words:
“My son got stabbed by a little girl. She got a knife. She’s running up the street right now.”
