It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of MS. BARBARA BRIANNA “BRI” GARNETT, affectionately known as “Bri,” of Thomson, Georgia. At only 28 years old, Bri’s vibrant journey came to an end on July 30, 2025, at the Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia. The news of her sudden departure has left an irreplaceable void in the lives of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Bri was a beacon of light in every space she entered — warm-hearted, determined, and full of life. She carried herself with grace and humility, often putting the needs of others before her own. Her sudden passing has left a community heartbroken, grieving not only the loss of her physical presence but the future that she deserved and the joy she constantly gave to others.
