The 22-year-old was stabbed by masked attacker Kyiza Sandiford, wielding a foot-long blade, in front of horrified motorists and shoppers. The senseless violence not only robbed a son of his future but also left a scar on the collective consciousness of the neighborhood. Remarkably, Keelen’s father, Jemaine Wong, has spoken openly about his profound grief and his surprising capacity for forgiveness. Instead of bitterness, he has chosen to channel his pain into creating a stage production titled Our Son: The Battle of Forgiveness, which aims to inspire healing and understanding.
