Shortly after 1:00 p.m. on August 3rd, London police responded to reports of a stabbing near Colborne Street and Princess Avenue.
On arrival, police located an adult man with critical injuries, who was taken to hospital by paramedics but later died.
Witnesses gave officers a description of the suspect, who had fled the scene on foot. Police quickly searched the area and arrested a suspect nearby.
Following the investigation, 30-year-old Khamis Toto of London has been charged with second-degree murder. Police confirmed that the victim and the accused did not know each other.
Toto appeared in court and remains in custody. His next court date is set for August 11, 2025.
