COLUMBIA HEIGHTS, MN — An urgent AMBER Alert has been issued for 25-day-old Dior Gooch, who was abducted on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, from Columbia Heights, Minnesota.
The situation is considered critical as Dior is a newborn and extremely vulnerable. Law enforcement agencies are asking for the public’s immediate attention and cooperation to help locate her and ensure her safe return.
Dior Gooch is a Black female infant, only 25 days old, with brown eyes and black hair. At the time of her abduction, she was last seen wearing a white top and blue bottoms.
The Columbia Heights Police Department is leading the investigation and working closely with other local and national agencies, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
Ashley Gooch, a 38-year-old Black female, has been named as the primary suspect in the abduction. She is described as being approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 158 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair styled in pink braids. Ashley was last seen pushing Dior in a stroller while wearing an orange and white sundress and carrying a black backpack.
The two were last spotted walking west on 37th Avenue, crossing University Avenue in Columbia Heights, a busy area with multiple traffic routes, increasing the urgency and complexity of the search.
Authorities believe Dior may be in imminent danger due to her age and the circumstances of her disappearance. Law enforcement emphasizes that if you see Ashley Gooch or Dior Gooch, you should not approach. Instead, call 911 immediately.
