The collision left her with multiple broken bones and a traumatic brain injury. Witnesses recall bystanders rushing in to provide CPR until emergency responders arrived, fighting desperately to keep her alive. For ten days, she remained in the hospital, sustained by machines and the unwavering efforts of medical staff. Her fight was courageous, but her body could no longer endure the damage. On August 18, surrounded by prayers and grief, Eli’s life slipped away.
