Two Teens Charged with Second-Degree Murder After Fatal London, Ontario Attack – Read the full story

In the early hours of Sunday, August 3, 2025, around 1:40 a.m., police responded to several 9-1-1 calls reporting a fight involving weapons near Breton Park Crescent and Manitoulin Drive.

When officers arrived, they found a 27-year-old man with life-threatening injuries. Despite the efforts of paramedics and first responders, the victim was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The case has been taken over by the London Police Service’s Major Crime Section. Investigators, along with frontline officers, acted quickly to identify and arrest the suspects. Police say there is no ongoing threat to public safety.

Two male youths, aged 15 and 17, have been charged jointly with second-degree murder. Their identities are protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. Both remain in custody.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen or heard anything unusual, or who has surveillance or dashcam footage from the area between 1:00 and 2:00 a.m. on August 3, to contact the Major Crime Section. Even minor details could help advance the investigation, which is still ongoing.
