A Life of Faith, Love, and Legacy
On Tuesday, August 26, 2025, the Linamen family experienced a heartbreaking loss with the passing of Nick Linamen, age 67, at Riverview Care Center. Born on March 19, 1958, in Cleveland, OH, Nick spent much of his life in Hilliard, OH, where he built a legacy of love, service, and faith. For 47 beautiful years, he shared his life with his devoted wife, Sharon, raising a family rooted in strength, unity, and devotion to God.
Nick’s life was a reflection of kindness and integrity. As a retired mortgage banker, he worked hard to provide for his family, always putting others before himself. He was more than just a professional—he was a man of character, someone you could trust and depend on. His dedication to his family and his community will never be forgotten.
A Passionate Heart for Music, Ministry, and Family
Nick had an unwavering faith that guided him through every season of life. For 25 years, he was an active member of Northwest Bible Church, serving in the music and leadership ministries, before later joining Rock City Church. His love for worship and service touched countless lives, and his voice in the music ministry was a source of inspiration for many.
Outside of his faith and ministry, Nick was a man of many passions. He loved music, enjoyed singing, and found joy in the simple beauty of the game of golf. But above all, he adored his family. His five daughters—Andrea, Amie, April, Aubrey, and Alexa—were his pride and joy. His heart overflowed with love for his 19 grandchildren, each one a cherished blessing in his eyes. Whether it was family gatherings, church events, or quiet moments at home, Nick treasured every second spent with those he loved most.
A Legacy That Will Never Fade
Nick leaves behind a lifetime of beautiful memories and an enduring legacy of faith, love, and devotion. Though he is now reunited with his parents, Ronald and Marcella, his spirit will live on through his beloved wife, daughters, grandchildren, siblings, and countless friends who had the privilege of knowing him.
While arrangements have been kept private by the family through Jerry Spears Funeral Home of Hilliard, the impact of Nick’s life reaches far beyond the walls of a service. His story is one of unwavering faith, selfless love, and the power of family.
