Lavernous Arnold, 21, was found and arrested on August 26 in Lubbock, Texas, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI).
On August 18, WALB reported that Arnold was identified as the man wanted in connection with the murder of 16-year-old Jaykavion Gary in Remerton. Arnold is currently in the Lubbock County Jail, where he will await extradition, according to the GBI.
